The short version: the Close Combo app won't collect any information about you. There's no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

The app

What stays on your iPhone

Your training results, the way you throw each move, your settings and your fight history stay on your iPhone. We never receive them.

Playing with a friend

iOS asks for permission to find nearby devices. Close Combo uses it to connect to your friend's phone and measure how far apart you are. Moves, hits and health go straight from one phone to the other. They don't pass through any server of ours, because we don't have one.

Motion

The game reads the phone's motion sensors while you play to tell a jab from a hook. That data is used on the phone and isn't saved or sent anywhere.

Purchases

The full game is bought through Apple. Apple handles the payment and tells the app only whether it's unlocked. We never see your name, email or card details.

This website

closecombo.com counts page visits so we know whether anyone is reading it. It uses Polyology's own cookie-less counter, which stores daily totals and a one-way hash that changes every day, never IP addresses, and skips browsers that send Do Not Track. It also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or track you across sites. Amazon Web Services hosts the site. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions go to contact@polyology.co. Close Combo is made by Polyology. The Polyology privacy policy covers our other products.
